Our Expertise
Penn United’s precision metal stamping operations utilize state-of-the-art stamping presses located at our Cabot, PA main campus. Our metal stamping capabilities originated from our core progressive tool and die business, as customers requested the design and construction of progressive dies and volume metal stamping production. We have expanded to over 50 mechanical and servo presses with capacities up to 300 tons and production rates of up to 1,200 strokes per minute.
Our emphasis on early design-for-manufacturing assistance, die simulation services, and initial prototype development allows us to suggest improvements to customer designs, maximizing the overall value of high-volume metal stamping.
Supported by ISO and AS9100 quality standards and our renowned investment in high-technology metrology equipment, we handle metal stamping projects across multiple markets, including Defense and Aerospace, Connectivity, Medical Devices, and Energy.
