Multiplies Hand-Gripping Force – Stronger than Traditional Pliers
The problem with traditional self-adjusting tools has generally been the power of the jaws. The self-energizing design of the Magnum GripTM and the mechanical advantage of parallel jaws results in a multiplier of five (5) times from the users hand to the work piece. That means an average person who grips the handle at 60 pounds will generate up to 300 pounds on a nut or bolt. This is 100% more than standard tongue and groove, slip joint and other self-adjusting pliers.
Speed and Versatility
The Magnum GripTM has the same speed and flexibility of previous generations of highly successful, self-adjusting tools. However, the Magnum GripTM is designed with a parallel jaw action that can easily grab most shapes such as flat, hex, round, etc. There are no time consuming buttons or adjustments needed to move from small to large fasteners and the self-adjusting design allows for ratchet like speed.
